The Xiaomi Max phablet device is said to come with a Snapdragon 820.
A few days ago, Xiaomi held an online poll to decide the name of the upcoming phablet device with a size of 6.4 inches. The name chosen after the poll results is Xiaomi Max and now, we have come across some leaked images of the front panel. Xiaomi Max front panel leaked images were apparently taken on the production line and you can see that the 6.4 - inch indeed is large enough. After all, it is only a half inch short of becoming a 7-inch tablet.
Other important things to look at in the front panel are the thin bezel and physical capacitive buttons.
You can see that there is no cut for the physical home button as we saw in the Xiaomi Mi 5. This means that a fingerprint scanner won't be in the front this time. The sources have said that this time it would be present on the back of the Xiaomi phablet.
There is no detailed information about the specifications of the Xiaomi Max for now. The only known specs are that it would have a 6.4-inch Quad HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon SOC 820 under the hood.
The Xiaomi Max is rumored to be announced in May, but nothing is official at the moment. We will keep you informed as more details will be out soon.
